What is Pre-workout?
A pre-work supplement is used prior to exercise to provide energy, alertness, and focus. Pre-workout supplements have been shown to improve muscular endurance, power output and running time to exhaustion.
What is pre-workout made from?
Pre-workouts generally contain beta-alanine, tyrosine, citrulline, taurine & caffeine. They may also contain a vitamin blend as well as BCAAs.
These ingredients, like beta-alanine can be beneficial for improving sports performance by increasing muscle carnosine stores which prevent a build up of lactic acid in the muscle. This is important in sports like cycling and field sports when repeated high intensity running or a sprint finish is required. Another ingredient such as caffeine has been shown to improve alertness and cognitive function. Citrulline Malate has been shown to reduce fatigue and improve performance in aerobic and anaerobic exercise.
When should I take Kinetica pre-workout?
You should take pre-workout 30/60 minutes before you exercise. Kinetica Prefuel comes in three refreshing flavours, citrus, berry, and watermelon.
