Three Tips for Avoiding Injury in GAA

Is there anything more frustrating than an injury you can’t seem to shake off?  
Bryan Cullen, High Performance Manager at Dublin GAA, shared his 3 Top Tips for avoiding injury with #TeamKinetica. These are to help show you how to remain fit & healthy so you can continue getting out there on the pitch and doing what you love! 
 

1. Warm Up

A structured warm up will not only help prepare you for training but may also aid subsequent performance.  

 

2. Increase your training load gradually

Small and incremental increases in training load will allow your body to adapt to the increased stress over time.  

  

3. Take rest days

More is not always better. Allow your body time to recover between sessions to reduce the risk of overuse injuries, fatigue or dropout.
