We know that a lot of the Kinetica Community are trying their best to adjust to the current climate, with many struggling with the restrictions. So we decided to launch a series of discussion panels featuring expert practitioners and athletes that are willing to give us an insight into their world and their views to entertain, inspire and motivate our audience while we work together to adapt to the new norm.

Episode 1

This first episode is focused on the personal and professional trials and tribulations of the panel. It is co-hosted by Sean Prunty from #TeamKinetica and Daniel Davey from Davey Nutrition and features Paul Talty, Associate Lead Performance Services from Swim Ireland & Gavin Rackard, Lead Performance Nutritionist from Connacht Rugby.

Episode 2

This second episode is a little different from our first. We decided to focus on two of Ireland’s national golfing treasures, Kinetica Ambassador Leona and twin sister, Lisa Maguire. Both have had an incredible start to their golfing careers with much more to come. They shared some fantastic insights into their personal lives with us, covering everything from their time in Duke University, the mental resilience required to play golf, especially at an elite level where losses are more common than successes, through to the tough decisions they have both had to make over the course of their playing careers. Leona is an LPGA Golf Professional whereas Lisa recently hung up her (professional!) golf shoes to take on a role with Modest Golf as Player Manager. It’s a timely episode, with golf courses opening up again amid COVID-19 restrictions, so hopefully these ladies and their stories inspire you to get back out there. This episode is co-hosted by Rebecca Fitzgerald from #TeamKinetica and Performance Nutritionist, Daniel Davey from Davey Nutrition.

Episode 3

In episode 3, we got the chance to catch up with two very well-known individuals in the world of Gaelic games; Dublin GAA player partner and 2019 All-Ireland winner l Brian Howard and Kerry football legend Aidan O'Mahony. In part 1 we talk about the importance of having a strong support system in place in order to excel as well as their career highlights to date. Great timing, as GAA fans nationwide look forward to the return of GAA action after recent government announcements will see a return to play sooner than expected. This episode is co-hosted by Rebecca Fitzgerald from #TeamKinetica and Health & Performance Nutritionist, Kate McDaid from nutrikate.com.
